Today something different: Bean stew with salsiccia and hot peppers. Was a blast!

Very good beginning, unfortunately not so good end ... We had a starter platter and then lobster noodles which were really good. Unfortunately it went downhill from then on. The sea bass tasted of nothing and was sitting on a bed of unmade spinach leaves that had probably been microwaved. Not even adding salt and pepper had helped. At dessert it was the first time that I let go of chocolate cake with a liquid core because the cake tasted like cardboard and the vanilla sauce like chemicals. It's a shame, because the ambience is really nice and the waiters were very friendly, but if you can only eat the starter, it's not enough.

A fish wizard. A chef who didn't get the fish for nothing. Absolutely recommendable. Was there for the third time with customers and everyone was thrilled. Many thanks for everything.

The L’ancora is one of the best restaurants with the tastiest culinary skills of Fulvio, which he prepares with passion and with great attention to detail. The triology of tuna / salmon / sea bream - tartare is a dream of pleasure. If you love fish, this is the place for you and you will not be disappointed, but also e.g. pasta in a parmesan crust with truffle is a poem. Keep it up !!!

The fish was very dry and some of the bones were still in the fish. The staff did not respond to friendly advice.

I enjoy the great service and exquisite food at L'ancora. At Fulvio I get super fresh goods ... primarily fish, but also great meat and pasta. I always went out here with a great taste experience and always enjoy coming back to Bad Homburg ... Super great restaurant! The food tasted very, very tasty, and the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit! Those who love fish and value quality and freshly prepared dishes will get their money's worth here. The dishes are individually arranged with great attention to detail. I have never experienced it like this in any restaurant.

Was OK. Nothing special. Had spaghetti with angler fish. Was very boring. My wife had the daily menu. As a dessert came fruit plate (pears only) But super friendly staff. Therefore 3 stars.

New (fish) restaurant since December 2019 .... has been there twice, very tasty food and above all good and reasonably priced wine list. Interesting lunch menus during the week .... an enrichment for Bad Homburg!
